Hello dog.


I came downstairs after putting Ian to bed and found this:


Mia tried out the exersaucer for the first time yesterday. Her feet don't quite reach the bottom yet.

National Building Museum

Yesterday Ian and his friend Bud met at the National Building Museum for a play date.

Across the street from the museum is the Law Enforcement Memorial, where Ian practiced roaring like a lion.


Inside was a Lego exhibit with models of some of the world's tallest structures. The exhibit also had a big room of Legos where the kids could do some building of their own.






After running around the atrium for a while, the boys got to play in the Building Zone.




While all this fun was happening, Mia was pretty busy too:

Lounging in Our PJs

Joe ran outside to put out the trash before the trash truck passed by, and told Ian to make sure Mia didn't roll over onto the floor. This is what he found when he came back inside.

Rolling Over

Mia can roll over! She has mastered the roll from back to belly, but can only do it consistently over her left side for now. She is pretty pleased with herself when she first rolls over, but quickly realizes she's on her tummy, a position she definitely does not prefer.

Sunday Sundae

A special treat for a special little boy.

Bumbo

Mia tried out the Bumbo seat for the first time the other day, and she did pretty well!

Great Falls

The weather was nice on Friday and Joe had the day off, so we took Grandma, Grandpa, and "Mister Janet" to Great Falls.



Ian loved climbing on the rocks.




Mia tagged along in the Moby.

3 Months Old

Mia is 3 months old!



I tried to get a grin for her photo this month, but I had to take my eye off the camera to talk to her and ended up without the frame in the right place, but this one is too cute not to share.



At three months, Mia:
- eats 5oz of formula 4 times a day.
- wears size 0-3m and 3m clothes and size 1 diapers.
- falls asleep with us downstairs around 10pm and sleeps through until about 7:30am.
- takes a lot of naps during the day.
- is starting to show an interest in her toys.
