I didn't realize that it was going to be a covered porch! You are going to love it! We have a roof over ours and we are out there all the time! The previous owners put it on and they included a stone patio next to it for the grill...you are going to have a great summer outside!
It's technically a porch since it's covered, but we've been calling it a deck for so long the name stuck. I think we are going to be really happy we went with a roof since we get direct sunlight most of the day and it gets pretty hot in the summer.
